We enjoyed it and recommend the place. We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was nice, had favourable location on the cafe. Exceptionally comfortable bed and room was functional and clean. Location: the property was close to Burgos surrounded by commercial property near to a sports stadium, the bouncy castle after tea, and the town centre.

Staff very friendly although little English spoken in the evening.Used by many locals. Cafe con leche in the evening was delicious!!
There was no 'menu del dia' as I had read in previous reports.I did ask when I arrived and the staff did not tell me that there was a restaurant attached to the 'hostal' where we could have had a meal! At breakfast time there were no rolls or croissants left and we were not late! I had asked about breakfast so feel they should have made sure there was enough for overnight guests. Again having read good reports about breakfast we were disappointed not to try!

Easy to find from the highway.
Remember: this is a Hostal- not a hotel!, don's expect much. Price is to high for the offered service and room (service is not excisiting). Smelly bathroom and small room, we were quite suprised. Not even a reception desk; check in takes place in the bar. To far to walk to the city centre. We have stayed in de hotel Buenos Aires, 50 m. furher and it was much better for the same price.

Availability for a menu del dia at 10 euro up till 11pm. Dog friendly.
I found it difficult to find mainly due to the Booked.net directions which are not that easy to read. I found myself going unnecessarily through Burgos town centre coming from the South.

The place met our needs perfectly, I'd definitely stay here again, the rooms are clean and practical, and the staff is amazing, with a tidy private bathroom.

They were very welcoming, we had a good sized family room and were able to stay with our dog. We only wanted overnight accommodation on our way somewhere and it fitted the bill perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised.

Private garage very reasonable price. Free Wi-fi, responds address wise to G.P.S. Cafeteria food good, (restaurant only average.) was a midway stop for me between Coimbra Portugal and Bilbao/Santander Spain

Mainly I was surprised by how clean it was. The two men that run the bar and I think the whole place were so lovely to our children and I noticed to some other French children. It made the stay personal and enjoyable.

We havew stayed here about 5 times and we have found the staff and services excellent. The restuarante is very good. We have a small dog and find that this hostal is just the right length of time from leaving the ferry at Santander. Cannot praise this hostal enough. C Sharpe
No complaints whatsoever. Excellent value
